5.1 β€” Scope of Authorisation

An approved ESTA does not constitute a visa and does not confer any legal right to admission into the United States. It is a pre-screening mechanism that determines preliminary eligibility. • Authorisation validity: two (2) years from date of approval, or until passport expiration, whichever is earlier
  • Maximum duration per entry: ninety (90) calendar days
  • Multiple entries permitted within the validity period
  • Not extendable or convertible to another immigration status

5.3 β€” Grounds for Revocation

A previously approved ESTA may be revoked under the following circumstances, as determined by the adjudicating authority:

a

Change in the Applicant's criminal history or immigration record

b

Overstay of a prior authorised admission period

c

Modification of VWP country designation affecting the Applicant's nationality

d

Discovery of material misrepresentation in the original declaration

e

Issuance of a new passport invalidating the linked travel document

[OFFICIAL ADVISORY]
