Enter your first name and middle name exactly as they appear in your passport, using letters A-Z.

Overview of Modification Provisions

Subsequent to the submission of an ESTA declaration, the Applicant may request amendments to certain data fields within the declaration. Modification eligibility is governed by the nature of the data field and the current adjudication status of the declaration. This section enumerates the applicable provisions, constraints, and procedural requirements for all modification requests.

Modifiable Data Fields

The following categories of data may be amended within a submitted declaration, provided the declaration has not yet received a final determination:

Non-Modifiable Data Fields

The following data fields are classified as non-modifiable and cannot be amended under any circumstances within an existing declaration. Changes to these fields necessitate the cancellation of the current declaration and submission of a new ESTA application with the applicable administrative levy.
